Founded in 2021 by Pat Richardson in loving memory of her daughter Kristian “Krissy” Monet Richardson, MRCF carries forward the backpack drive Krissy started in 2018. Each year, the foundation delivers fully stocked backpacks to underserved K–5 students across Orange, Durham, Edgecombe, Nash, and Pitt counties, and supports students further through scholarships and financial literacy workshops. Our team is proud to support the annual backpack drive and the foundation's mission of investing in local kids.

Based in Carrboro since 2008, TABLE delivers nutritious food and nutrition education to children facing food insecurity throughout Orange County, reaching roughly 1,200 local kids every week through home food delivery and educational programming. We support TABLE's work through volunteering and donations, helping make sure no child in our community goes hungry.

Beyond our foundation partners, our team donates labor, materials, and expertise directly to home renovation projects for neighbors who need a hand. From small repairs to larger accessibility upgrades, we put our trade skills to work where they can do the most good.

Bud Matthews Services was proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor for the Swinging Fore Cohen charity golf tournament, held June 25th in Rougemont, NC, supporting 15-year-old Cohen Rappleyea and his family during his battle with leukemia. Two of our team members hit the course for the cause, helping the community raise over $10,000.
